Jan's early 20's were spent twisting wrenches as an aircraft mechanic in Kingston, Ontario and in Quebec, Canada. Following a tragic family accident she decided to switch gears pushing her roll away full of tools into storage and heading to the local theater where she found a whole new world of excitement. For the next 4 to 5 years Jan worked on stage in summer stock as well as behind stage as Stage Manager for several plays at the Saidye Bronfman Theater in Montreal. As the adventure continued Jan won a green card lottery for the US and decided to sell her house and move to LA... and that's when she was introduced to the world of post production and the ever exciting world of voiceovers.
Jan's two passions were combined in the perfect gig when one day she found a job that was posted with the following heading; "If You Love Snow Boarding and Talking on The Radio, This Is the Job for You" and it was! Jan moved to New Hampshire to be a national ski reporter for SnoCountry Mountain Reports. She continues to spend her winter months scripting and voicing ski reports that are heard nationwide.
